a.  Governance Structure

 

General Shareholders (GS) is an organ of the Company which has authority that not to be given to the board of directors or board of commissioners within specified limits which stipulated in article of association, regulations as well as the prevailing law.

 

Board of Commissioner is the corporate organ who has a duty to carry out supervision generally or specifically in accordance with the article of association as well as providing advice to the policy of board of director in running the management of the company.

 

Board of Director is the corporate organ who has authority and fully responsibility to the corporate management for the interest of company in accordance with intention and objective of the company. The board of director has a collegial duty and responsibility in managing the company to assure that all resources can be maximized to enhance profit and continuous corporate values.

1. About Foundation

 

a.  Economic Development

We demonstrate our commitment to the countries and communities where we operate by creating jobs, employing and developing local workforces, and sourcing from local suppliers, goods and services globally.

 

b. Local Hiring

We are committed to having a workforce that reflects the communities where we operate. percent of our employees worked in their home countries. We train the local people we hire, developing their skills and capabilities, and we have many programs in place that build capacity within the broader local communities.

 

c..  Supplier Sourcing

We use customized approaches to develop national and local content for our major capital projects and our ongoing operations. Our processes are grounded in lasting partnerships. We collaborate with national and local governments, national oil companies, nongovernmental organizations, and development agencies to identify high-impact, sustainable supplier and workforce development opportunities. We do this within our own supply chain and our contractors' supply chains. For example, in province , where we have operated for and are the country's largest oil producer, a local business development program we launched.

 

d.  Capacity Building

After local companies are identified, we design and implement programs to help them meet industry standards and provide goods and services

 

f.  Sponsor partner

             *  the Foundation had a partnership with government Indonesia  & UNDP ( TOTAL OIL & GAS & UNV Implementation ) to fund students from disadvantaged backgrounds with an interest and talent in science to study at  colleges. A total of 2 students graduated from this program. 

           

              *   In 2008, the Faculty for the Future program was launched to provide funding to women from emerging economies for advanced graduate study in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) in the best faculties for their discipline overseas.

 

g.   University

Capacity university iIf people to join and communities are to thrive, nothing is more important than education and job training. A workforce armed with the critical skills needed to succeed in the jobs of tomorrow is important not only to the success of our business, but also to a country's ability to compete in the global marketplace.
